The all maple M Birch bass drum hoops are color-matched and secured via low-profile claw hooks.The tom's mount is secured via the lugs and is not drilled directly into the shell. The Mapex I.T.S. System allows the shell to vibrate freely, allowing for maximum projection and resonance.Mapex's low mass lugs are secured to the shell via only one point of penetration.
