Summary: Good Ride and Hat, Crash so-so
Comment: The ride and Hi-Hat cymbals sound pretty good. Its a good thing the crash was a bonus because it sounds pretty dreadful. Good starter set though.

Summary: Does the job, but...
Comment: These are just barely okay for me. We needed something affordable and this was definitely more affordable than most. Even with my extremely low expectations of these I am still disappointed in the sound quality and expected more from Zildjian, they sound very tin-like. But they do the job allowing me to practice but I would honestly be embarrassed to play them in public and I am not afraid to let my children go crazy on them as I would be with other expensive cymbals. I am giving them three stars only because they are better than nothing. But, I would never purchase these again though, maybe I would use pie plates instead...sorry Zildjian.
